Open the annotation editor
Open the photo in the app—whether it belongs to a space, a product or a form field—and choose annotate to open the editor. The tools sit in a row along the bottom: Draw, Text, Sticker, Measure and Voice, with undo and Done at the top.

Draw freehand
Choose Draw, pick a colour and stroke weight that stands out against the photograph, then circle the defect or trace the run with your finger.

Add a text label
Choose Text, type the callout and tap Place, then drag the label into position on the image. Every issue gets called out in plain words on the evidence itself.

Add a measurement
Choose Measure and tap Add line, then drag the endpoints across the feature—a door height, a clearance gap, a wall run. Tap the value on the line and key in the real figure, and add further lines with Add line.

Save the markup
Tap Done. The annotated photo is saved against the space, product or form field it belongs to, the untouched original is preserved beside it, and the marked-up version prints in reports exactly as annotated.
Good to know
- ✓Made a wrong mark? Use the undo arrow at the top to step back rather than starting over.
- ✓Measurements are keyed values, not scaled from the photo—measure the real feature on site and type the figure in.
- ✓For detail that is quicker said than written, use Voice—the spoken note is recorded against the photo and transcribed underneath it.
