This is the most commonly requested export for design, fit-out, and building management workflows.

PDF export produces a dimensioned floor plan drawing that can be included in survey reports, condition assessments, or project documentation. The PDF output includes room labels, key dimensions, a scale bar, and any asset or equipment markers added during the capture. This format is suitable for distribution to clients, contractors, or building management teams without specialist software.

PNG and SVG formats are also available for use in presentations, space planning tools, or web-based property management systems. SVG output preserves vector geometry, allowing plans to be scaled and restyled without loss of quality. For teams working with BIM platforms, the SiteSurvey API can be used to retrieve plan geometry in structured JSON for import into compatible workflows.

Export options are accessible from the plan detail view in the SiteSurvey portal. Bulk export of multiple plans across a project is supported, which is useful when delivering a portfolio survey or producing documentation for a client handover.
