Add pages and conditional logic to a form

Split a long form into ordered pages and show or hide questions with rules joined by AND or OR, using equals, any of, empty and more.

Pages keep long forms manageable on a phone screen. Conditional logic keeps each path short—questions appear only when a previous answer makes them relevant.
  1. 01

    Open the form designer

In the web portal, open Forms and choose the form you want to edit.

  2. 02

    Add a page

Use the pages panel to add a page wherever the form naturally breaks—such as site details, checks and sign-off.

  3. 03

    Rename, reorder or delete pages

Rename each page so the field team knows what it covers, move pages into the right order and delete any page that is no longer needed.

  4. 04

    Add a show/hide rule

Select a field and add a condition based on an earlier answer. Operators include equals, not equals, any of, all of, empty and not empty.

  5. 05

    Combine conditions

Join multiple conditions with AND or OR, so a question appears only when every condition—or any one of them—is met. Fields can also be required only while they are visible.

  6. 06

    Test every path

Use the live fill preview with mock data to walk each branch before publishing the form.

Good to know

  • Keep page names action-oriented so progress feels clear on site.
  • A failed check revealing a photograph and remedial action is the most useful first rule.
