Import from Jetbuilt, Odoo or IO

Bring customers and projects into SiteSurvey from your connected Jetbuilt, Odoo or IO accounts instead of re-entering them.

Once an integration is connected, you can import customers from Jetbuilt or IO, and import whole projects—with their rooms and products—from Jetbuilt or Odoo.
  1. 01

    Connect the integration

Open Settings and select Integration. Switch on the service you use, paste in its API key (IO also needs its API secret) and select Save. Import options only appear for connected services.

  2. 02

    Import customers from Jetbuilt

Open Customers, select + Add, then Import from Jetbuilt — this is the customer import path available in the standard SiteSurvey workspace. Other sources, such as IO customer imports and Jetbuilt or Odoo project imports (started from Projects with Add New, then the import option for your service), are shown where available — if they appear in your workspace, they work the same way.

  3. 03

    Find the records

For customers, the import dialog lists accounts from the connected service—search by name, then tick the ones you want. For projects, enter the reference from the source system: a Jetbuilt Project ID, or an Odoo sale order name (such as S07193) or order ID.

  4. 04

    Run the import

For customers, choose Import Accounts. For a project, select Import Project. SiteSurvey fetches the records and confirms what was created—a project import reports how many rooms and products came across.

  5. 05

    Review the imported records

Imported customers appear in the Customers list, ready to use on new projects. An imported project appears in the Projects list with its rooms as spaces and its products already added, so your team can start surveying straight away.

Good to know

  • In the Jetbuilt customer import, accounts with no postcode are flagged as missing—add the postcode in Jetbuilt first if site addresses matter to you.
  • For Odoo, tick Update existing project if found to refresh a project you have already imported rather than create a duplicate.
  • Project imports assign the imported project to you as manager—reassign it from the project afterwards if someone else owns the job.
