Platform & Getting Started

How do I get started with SiteSurvey?

Sign up for a 7-day free trial, build your first form, invite your team, and take your first survey. No credit card required to start.

Getting started with SiteSurvey begins with signing up for a 7-day free trial on the website. No credit card is required and the full platform is available from day one, including form building, mobile data capture, and the web portal. You can sign up with a work email and your account is active within a few seconds.

The first step after sign-up is creating a form. The drag-and-drop form builder lets you add field types such as text, number, dropdown, photo capture, signature, and barcode scan. If you have an existing paper form or checklist, you can recreate it in the builder in most cases within an hour. The template library also provides starting points for common survey types if you want to adapt an existing template rather than building from scratch.

Once your form is ready, invite your field team by entering their email addresses in the portal. Each invited user receives an email with instructions to download the SiteSurvey mobile app on iOS or Android and set up their account. You then assign the form to a project and to specific team members, and it appears in their app ready to complete.

Taking the first survey is straightforward from the mobile app. The operative opens their assigned form, works through the questions on site, and submits when finished. The submission appears in the web portal within seconds if the device is online, or syncs automatically when connectivity is restored if it was completed offline. From there you can review the data, generate a report, and explore the remaining features during the trial period.
