A project's Work Log shows one job. Reporting, Timesheets shows the hours across all of them for the period you choose, totalled by project or by person, ready to export.
  1. 01

    Open Reporting

In the web portal, open Reporting. Timesheets is the first report; switch between Timesheets and Expenses at the top of the page. Reporting is on The Works plan and is not shown to Base or viewer users.

  2. 02

    Choose the period

Pick This week, Last week or This month, or choose Custom and set your own start and end dates.

  3. 03

    Filter what you need

Narrow the report to particular projects, customers or people. Under Hours, choose All hours to include confirmed bookings, or Manual only for the time people logged by hand.

  4. 04

Read it by project or by person

By project shows each project's customer, people, entries and hours. By person shows each person's role, projects, entries and hours. Expand a row to see the entries behind it, with their date and source.

  5. 05

    Export it

Select Export CSV or Export Excel to download what you are looking at, ready for payroll or a client.

Good to know

  • ✓Confirmed bookings count as one entry per day for each person invited. All-day bookings count as 9 hours.
  • ✓There is no direct payroll integration, and SiteSurvey does not hold pay rates. Use the export.
