Connect your Google or Outlook calendar

Send your SiteSurvey bookings to your own Google or Microsoft calendar. The sync is one way, into a separate SiteSurvey calendar.

Each person connects their own calendar. SiteSurvey adds a separate SiteSurvey calendar to that account and keeps your bookings there up to date. Nothing is read back, so other events in your calendar do not block time in SiteSurvey.
  1. 01

    Check calendar sync is on

An administrator turns on calendar sync for the company with the switch next to Calendars in Settings, Integration. While it is off, new connections are blocked.

  2. 02

    Open Settings, Integration

In the web dashboard, open Settings and choose Integration. Under Calendars you will see Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. You can also connect from Calendars in the mobile app's settings.

  3. 03

    Connect your account

Select Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, sign in to your own account and approve access. Each person connects their own calendar; an administrator cannot connect it for you.

  4. 04

    Check the SiteSurvey calendar

A separate SiteSurvey calendar appears in your Google or Outlook account. Your bookings are added there, and updated or removed when they change or are cancelled in SiteSurvey.

  5. 05

    Disconnect if you need to

Return to Settings, Integration and disconnect the calendar to stop new bookings being sent.

Good to know

  • ✓The sync is one way. Appointments you create in Google or Outlook are not read into SiteSurvey and do not block bookings.
  • ✓Apple Calendar is not supported.
