When a workflow assigns a task to a team member, the resource management module checks that person's current workload and scheduled commitments. If the assignment would create an overbooking, the system flags the conflict and prompts the project manager to reassign or adjust the deadline before the task is confirmed.

Managers can view team availability from the resource dashboard, which shows each member's active tasks, scheduled workload, and capacity across all live projects. This is particularly useful for scheduling multi-step projects where several tasks need to be completed in a short window.
