The Excel add-on is a one-way connection. SiteSurvey is the source of truth: changes flow from SiteSurvey into Excel, but edits made in Excel do not update SiteSurvey.

Connect Excel to SiteSurvey
Open the SiteSurvey add-on in Excel and sign in to the workspace that contains your project.

Choose a project
Select the SiteSurvey project whose spaces, products and data points should populate the workbook.

Create the BOQ
Choose the information to include and let the add-on generate the rows and columns in Excel.

Continue updating SiteSurvey
Add, edit or delete site information in SiteSurvey as the work progresses.

Refresh Excel
Use the add-on to pull the latest SiteSurvey data into the workbook whenever the BOQ needs updating.
Good to know
- ✓Do not rely on Excel edits to update the SiteSurvey project.
- ✓Treat SiteSurvey as the master record and Excel as the live commercial or reporting view.
